So, as I sat in my car yesterday in a 2-hour, bumper-to-bumper 5 mph traffic jam, I cursed the fact that I wouldn’t be able to get back to watch football. One hour into the ordeal, I passed a man who had pulled over and was out in the berm in front of his Camry on a prayer mat kneeling to Mecca. I felt smaller.
