As some of you know, I got a new job and moved out of Ashland. My apologies if I didn’t get the chance to say good-bye. You’ll most likely see me again, anyway. I wrote a column in the T-G on my last day. I’ll post it here so you can read it; I’m quite proud of it.

I now live in Annapolis, Maryland, and work in downtown Washington, D.C. It’s a big change from my last gig. My former sources were school teachers and administrators. My new ones are generals who control a combined 500,000 U.S. troops throughout the nation. The first business card I received from someone in this new job was from a guy who works for the Lockheed Martin Missile Control division. Yikes. Things are different.
