Hello. My name is andrew. About 4 years ago, I started posting my random thoughts on a website hosted by my college in the format used by Justin Hall. His page always fascinated me, partly because his life seems so much more exciting than mine, but also because I admired his willingness to spill any personal anecdote about himself to literally thousands of viewers. Ironically, it was that candor that caused him to break down and stop his personal weblog.

Compared to Hall, I’m in my internet adolescence, having tagged only in HTML since about 1998, I really have no knowledge of blog technology. My site, Don’t look now. (a name created as a placeholder until I could think of something better. It never happened.), was completely tagged with HTML. No style sheets, no databases, no php, nothing. I just wrote it all out. I’ve successfully made the move to blogging software; it was a big step for an internet idiot, but I’ve learned.

What you should probably know: I’m 26, and my first job out of College was in the town where I grew up. Now, I live in Maryland and work in Washington, D.C., as a writer for a membership magazine. What are the words to that Beatles song? “Out of college, money spent. See no future, pay no rent…”? It’s something sort of like that, though with more order.
Read on and talk. Discourse rules.
